I feel good and tag along for the action. The first order of business is to hike to the gondola through the village. The ride up is my challenge. It's good but scary for a height sensitive person. I begin to relax when I see the adorable cows jingling their bells.  See the video...click here. We get up high and then we go up even higher on the ski lift. I'm glad Steven is with me. We walk over to check out the paragliding site. They are brave and I am able to acclamate to the altitude. Paragliders believe in God or something I think as they prep the wings to fly off this.             I'm excited for them. I wish them well and resolve that if Steven doesn't make it, it was an easy and beautiful way out. I recline on the rocks like a lizard waiting for the shot and here it is. After an incredibly perfect takeoff, I watch him soar off into a vast space that is beyond me. See the video...click here. I have fun hiking through this valley and over to the immense view. See the video...click here. I take my time wandering around petting cute cows. Somehow I magically arrive as they have returned to the summit and Steven looks at me and says "shouldn't you be at the spa"? Odd I thought for a greeting, but I suppose he was concentrating on the next flight that looked like this. See the video...click here. Well with him off again, I decided I'd had enough sun and fun and made my way to the ski lift. Now do realize this is my first ski lift ride by myself. I am nervous. See the video...click here. I survive. Then it's the near vertical gondola ride after a quick stop at the midway WC. I saw the opportunity to jump in a cabin with a family who had a three year old and thought I might feel safer. I thought the ride was intense, but the three year old smiled with glee which made me feel better. I returned to the hotel to find my honey, but he's not here and not answering email or phone. So I'm off to create after a yummy salad, two peaches, a very juicy mango, and three pieces of gum. We finally reunited. I was very happy!! We checked out the spa and jacuzzi after a relaxing walk and dinner downstairs. |
