Agilent's pioneering spirit
was kindled more than 60 years ago, when two engineers - Bill
Hewlett and Dave Packard - invented the future in their garage.
In 1999, Agilent was spun off from Hewlett-Packard Company,
taking over test and measurement devices, semiconductor products
and chemical analysis.
In Japan, one of the world's leading
countries in semiconductor and communications technologies,
Agilent Technologies is at the leading edge of research and
development. One of a very few global companies to have R&D
facilities in this country, Agilent Japan has invented and
developed many of the technologies and products that dominate
worldwide markets today. This includes the mixed-signal IC
tester for system LSI and the hard disk drive tester.
